Description
This course offers the opportunity to observe the delivery of social services within selected agencies. Students are assigned to an agency for a beginning experience in examining how social work services are provided. Field education experience is combined with seminar instruction. This course is repeatable for credit. Recommended Preparation: SOWK 260.
Notes
There will be four (4) 2-hour seminars and 64 hours of volunteer work with an agency. Seminars will be held online as indicated in the meeting pattern. Shady grove students welcome to attend this course! Please check Blackboard for details before the start of the class. Seminar dates are on the following Thursdays: May 27th, June 10th, June 24th, and July 15th.
