Notes
This is a synchronous and fully online course. Your instructor will be contacting you before the first class session via Blackboard and/or email regarding the plan for online instruction. Please check both Blackboard and your UMBC email for updates prior to the first day of classes. Plan to meet your class online on the first day of class at the time posted in the schedule of classes unless otherwise indicated by your instructor. It requires reliable internet access and computer literacy; and the ability to self-manage independent learning assignments according to deadlines. In place of classroom activities, online work may include independent mastery assignments, discussion boards, videos with quizzes, writing assignments, and other active learning experiences. Students are responsible for completing these online learning experiences by the specified deadlines and in accordance with instructor requirements.
