Description
Topics include numerical linear algebra, interpolation, solving non-linear systems and the numerical solution of differential equations. This course also provides some emphasis on numerical algorithms and computation in a parallel environment.
Enrollment Requirements
You must complete CMSC341 and MATH221 and MATH152 or MATH142 with a C or better.

Prerequisites: CMSC 341, MATH 221, and (MATH 142 or 152).***This is a fully online course. It requires reliable internet access and computer literacy; and the ability to self-manage independent learning assignments according to deadlines. In place of classroom activities, online work may include independent mastery assignments, discussion boards, videos with quizzes, writing assignments, and other active learning experiences. Students are responsible for completing these online learning experiences by the specified deadlines and in accordance with instructor requirements.
