Description
This course is an introduction to a systematic approach to instruction. Special emphasis is placed on designing lessons to create meaningful learning experiences for students of diverse backgrounds. Students will practice developing performance objectives, planning teaching strategies to help students meet the objectives, and integrating assessment and instruction. This course includes a field experience.
Enrollment Requirements
You must complete EDUC 310 and EDUC 311 with a 'C' or better
Notes
This is a fully online synchronous course. It requires reliable internet access and computer literacy; and the ability to self-manage independent learning assignments according to deadlines. In place of classroom activities, online work may include independent mastery assignments, discussion boards, videos with quizzes, writing assignments, and other active learning experiences. Students are responsible for completing these online learning experiences by the specified deadlines and in accordance with instructor requirements.
