Description
This course is a systematic study of basic analysis with an emphasis on formal proofs, examples and counter examples. Topics include properties of the real line, sequences, series, limits, continuity and differentiation of functions, and Riemann Integration. Recommended Preparation: CMSC 203.
Enrollment Requirements
You must have completed MATH 142 or MATH 152 in addition to MATH 221 with a grade of "C" or better before you can take this course.

This is a synchronous online course. Students are expected to attend class online during the days/times listed in the meeting pattern. This is a fully online course. It requires reliable internet access and computer literacy; and the ability to self-manage independent learning assignments according to deadlines. In place of classroom activities, online work may include independent mastery assignments, discussion boards, videos with quizzes, writing assignments, and other active learning experiences.
