Description
This laboratory course consists of a series of exercises designed to familiarize the student with microbiological techniques. Experiments are performed in basic bacteriology, applied bacteriology, virology and immunology. Students will be expected to work independently, spending brief periods of time other than the scheduled lab period collecting data.
Enrollment Requirements
You must have completed BIOL 273 or BIOL 375 with a 'C' or better, or be concurrently enrolled in BIOL 273 or BIOL 375.

Notes
This course will be taught entirely online using both synchronous and asynchronous delivery. Students are expected to attend class online during the days/times listed in the meeting pattern. It requires reliable internet access and computer literacy; and the ability to self-manage independent learning assignments according to deadlines. In place of classroom activities, online work may include independent mastery assignments, discussion boards, videos with quizzes, writing assignments, and other active learning experiences. Students are responsible for completing these online learning experiences by the specified deadlines and in accordance with instructor requirements.*** The student will obtain a course kit from the publisher. The cost will be $120 per student. Instructions will be sent to each enrolled student.
