This course invites students to consider ethical issues that arise in the context of business through the lens of moral philosophy. Students will assess moral problems involving appropriate workplace conduct, the banking industry, and sustainable development using ethical theories built around different key aspects in our ordinary moral thinking and assessments, such as human happiness, duty and obligation, and virtuous character. This is a hybrid course, meeting twice a week in person (Tuesdays & Thursdays) with a significant on-line component.
